Horned Frogs Jump into Rankings

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's and women's swimming teams jumped into the CollegeSwimming.com rankings after their performances last weekend at the Art Adamson Invitational.
The men's team is ranked No. 22, while the women earned the No. 39 slot in the latest poll.
The men's squad is 3-0 this season, with victories coming against UT-Permian Basin, North Dakota and SMU. The women are 3-2 so far this season, registering wins against Tulane, UT-Permian Basin and North Dakota.
At the Art Adamson Invitational, the Horned Frogs set two school records over the three-day meet. The first came in the men's 200 medley relay with a time of 1:28.09 and the second in the men's 400 free relay, clocking in at 2:57.87.
Overall, there were 11 NCAA "B" Cut times registered during the three days of action.
Last week, senior Cooper Robinson earned Big 12 swimmer of the week, the first award of the season given out by the conference.
The Horned Frogs break for the fall and will return to action on Jan. 8 in a double dual with Florida International and Central Connecticut State in Miami, Fla.
