TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - Football's Aaron Green and rifle's Mindy Miles have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their performances last weekend.
Green, a junior tailback from San Antonio, posted a career-high 171 yards on 18 carries in the win over No. 7 Kansas State on Saturday. He had a career-long 65-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that put the game out of reach and put Green over 100-yards for the second time in three games. He also earned a helmet sticker from ESPN.com for his performance.
Green and the Horned Frog's football team travel to Lawrence, Kan., for a matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m.
Miles, the freshman from Weatherford, hit 593 in the air rifle event in the 4666-4563 win over UTEP on Sunday. It was the third time in six collegiate matches she had accomplished the feat and she leads the team with an average of 591 this season.
Miles and the rifle squad wrap up the fall slate on Sunday, Nov. 16, at Ohio State.
