TCU will be joined at the par-70 Belmar Golf Club by four top-25 teams in No. 1 Arkansas, No. 8 LSU, No. 10 Mississippi State and No. 20 UCF. Other teams in the field are No. 26 Florida State, No. 28 Texas A&M, No. 32 Notre Dame, No. 37 Texas, No. 39 California, No. 46 Texas Tech, Baylor, Clemson, Kent State, Oklahoma, SMU and Texas State.
The Horned Frogs are coming off back-to-back seventh-place finishes to begin their season, their most recent one coming out of 17 teams at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo., on Sept. 22-24.
TCU will be represented at the Schooner Fall Classic by Alexandra Bonetti, Emmy Martin, Kortnie Maxoutopoulis, Kelly McGovern and Chaney Uhles.
McGovern, playing in her second TCU tournament after transferring from William & Mary, recorded a hole-in-one on the par 3, 154-yard 17th hole in the final round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge. Her 75.0 stroke average this season leads TCU.
McGovern, Bonetti and Martin will be the only Horned Frogs to have played in all three tournaments.
Bonetti and Martin are second and third in stroke average at 75.2 and 76.3, respectively. Bonetti opened the season by tying for 12th at the Texas A&M "Mo"Morial. It was her 10th career top-20 result. Martin is a freshman from Odessa, Fla.
Uhles posted a career-low round of 230 at the Texas A&M "Mo"Morial. Maxoutopoulis, who placed second on last year's team with a 76.4 stroke average, will be making her season debut.
The Horned Frogs finished 11th at last fall's inaugural Schooner Fall Classic. Sanna Nuutinen was TCU's top finisher, producing a 69 and 70 over her final two rounds to tie for 12th with a 217. Maxoutopoulis' final-round 71 led to a tie for 25th.
