
Gillette Selected for AQHA Challenge

FORT WORTH, Texas - Sophomore Erin Gillette was recently chosen to participate at the 2013 American Quarter Horse Association Horsemanship Challenge in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Gillette went 10-5 in Horsemanship this past season, including 4-2 during league play. She is one of just eight riders nationally selected to compete in the event. The California native, who also posted two MOP accolades during the 2012-13 campaign, will join fellow Big 12 counterparts Kelly Boviard (Kansas State), Katy Krshka (Oklahoma State) and Parris Rice (Baylor) in Oklahoma City.
The preliminaries start Wednesday, Nov. 20 and are set to run through the evening of Nov. 21.
