
TCU Women's Cross Country Earns All-Academic Team Honors

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's cross country team was recognized with All-Academic team status by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the squad must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.
A total of 205 institutions represent 30 conferences that compose the group. To lead all conferences, 14 teams from the Big East Conference earned All-Academic nods. The Mountain West Conference was represented by four teams in Boise State, Colorado State, TCU and Wyoming.
The Horned Frogs placed eight athletes with a GPA of 3.00 or better on the Fall Academic All-MW squad in January.
