CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- TCU's Katy Cardno and Melissa Loh have been named All-America Scholars by the National Golf Coaches Association.
To be eligible for All-America Scholar consideration, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5.
Angie Ravaioli-Larkin has now produced 21 NGCA All-America Scholar selections in her 17-year tenure as head coach.
A sophomore from Sugar Land, Texas, Cardno played in her first five collegiate tournaments this season. She is a strategic communication major.
Loh, who graduated Phi Beta Kappa from TCU in May with a double major of psychology and accounting, is an All-America Scholar for the fourth straight year.
A Singapore native, Loh earned her first All-Mountain West Conference selection as a senior. Her career-best 75.4 stroke average placed second on TCU and sixth in the MWC. She recorded four top-20 finishes, including two top-10 results.
Loh, who lowered her stroke average each year at TCU, was instrumental in the Horned Frogs winning the MWC Championship and making their 16th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance.
A National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American and an Academic All-District selection, Loh was also a member of the business honor society of Beta Gamma Sigma.
