
Pharr Signs Free Agent Deal With Milwaukee

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU senior catcher Jimmie Pharr signed a free agent deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. He becomes the second member of the 2011 squad to sign a free agent deal this summer, joining Joe Weik, who signed with Arizona.
In his four seasons on the squad, Pharr has seen time as the designated hitter, behind the plate and even served a stint in left field. He appeared in 139 games and made 79 starts. Jimmie finished his career as a .272 hitter with 28 doubles, 1 triple and 14 home runs. He collected 57 runs over the course of his career.
