FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU women's golfer Melissa Loh has been selected to the Capital One Academic All-District at-large second team.
Loh graduated Phi Beta Kappa earlier this month with a psychology and accounting double major. She is also a member of the business honor society of Beta Gamma Sigma.
A Singapore native, Loh earned her first All-Mountain West Conference selection as a senior. Her career-best 75.4 stroke average placed second on TCU and sixth in the MWC. She recorded four top-20 finishes, including two top-10 results.
Loh, who lowered her stroke average each year at TCU, was instrumental in the Horned Frogs winning the MWC Championship and making their 16th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance.
Also a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American, Loh has been named an All-America Scholar each of the last three years by the National Golf Coaches Association.
The Capital One Academic All-District at-large team includes student-athletes from the sports of bowling, rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis and water polo.
