FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs welcome in-state rival Houston to Lupton Stadium for a three-game series beginning Friday night at Lupton Stadium. The Frogs, winner's of three straight, are in the midst of a season-long 13-game homestand.
TCU NOTABLES
The Horned Frogs stretched their winning streak to three games with a 3-1 victory over Texas State Tuesday night.
Brance Rivera's hitting streak has hit 20 games. Twice in the last four games, he led off the game with a home run.
Aaron Schultz continues to show his smarts on the base paths. He is a perfect 7-7 in stolen bases this season.
The Frog pitching staff walked just six and fanned 34 in the last four games.
Andrew Mitchell saw his streak of 24 innings without allowing an earned run come to an end.
Joe Weik had a good weekend, picking up four hits in the series finale and five on the weekend.
HOME NOTABLES
TCU opened up a season-long 13 game homestand Tuesday night with a win over Texas State.
