ABOUT THE GAME*It's Senior Day for No. 17 TCU as the Horned Frogs look to clinch their third consecutive outright Mountain West championship when they host UNLV.
*Having already secured a share of the MW title, TCU has won a conference championship in three consecutive seasons for the first time in its history.
*Saturday marks the Frogs' final MW game before heading to the Big 12 next season.
*TCU's longtime home of Amon G. Carter Stadium is in the midst of a $164 million renovation. Capacity for 2011 is 32,000. After full completion of the renovation in time for the 2012 campaign, Amon G. Carter Stadium will seat approximately 50,000. Following this season, the east stands, opposite the press box, will be redone and have a double-deck appearance similar to the new north end zone.
RECORD WATCH
*TCU has won a Mountain West record 23 straight league games while also holding the MW mark for consecutive home league wins (16) and road victories (12).
*The Frogs' 23-game conference winning streak is the longest in the nation. LSU and Houston are second with eight straight conference victories.
*TCU hasn't lost an MW game since Nov. 6, 2008 at Utah (13-10).
GOING FOR 10
*A win over UNLV would give TCU at least 10 wins for the fourth straight year and eighth time in the last 10 seasons under head coach Gary Patterson.
*Prior to Patterson's arrival on campus in 1998, the Frogs had just four 10-win seasons in their history.
THE SENIOR CLASS
*The Frogs' 19 seniors have won 45 games, becoming the fourth straight class to set a TCU win record.
*The seniors have played a part in TCU winning three straight conference championships for the first time in program history.
*This year's seniors have seen the Frogs reach a pair of BCS games, including a 2011 Rose Bowl championship.
*The seniors have won three straight games against top-five ranked teams, are 2-1 in bowl games, 6-2 against teams from BCS automatic-qualifying conferences, 22-1 at Amon G. Carter Stadium, 29-1 in Mountain West games and 45-5 overall.
*The seniors have combined for 218 starts in their career.
*All but one of TCU's 19 seniors have already earned their degree or are on track to graduate by May.
DEFENDING THEIR HOME
*TCU has won 25 of its last 26 home games and is 55-7 under Gary Patterson at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
*The Frogs have lost just one Mountain West home game in the last five seasons, a 27-20 decision to Utah on Oct. 18, 2007. TCU is 24-2 all-time at home in MW games.
THE WIN COLUMN
*TCU has won 36 of its last 39 games and is 48-5 in its last 53 contests.
*Since 2008, the Frogs' 45 wins (45-5) trail only Boise State (48-3) and Alabama (47-6).
*TCU is one of just three teams (Ohio State, Oregon) to play in a BCS game each of the last two seasons.
SERIES NOTES
*TCU holds an 8-1 lead over UNLV in a series that began in 1996 when both schools were members of the Western Athletic Conference.
*TCU is 4-0 versus the Rebels in Fort Worth and 4-1 in Las Vegas.
*Since beginning MWC play in 2005, the Frogs are 6-0 against UNLV with a seven-game winning streak overall in the series.
*The Frogs and Rebels met for three consecutive years (1996-98) in the WAC.
