Bonetti And TCU In Title Hunt At Alamo Invitational

SAN ANTONIO -- TCU freshman Alexandra Bonetti carded a 2-under-par 70 as the Horned Frogs are fourth after Monday's second round of the Alamo Invitational.
A native of Paris, France, Bonetti is tied for fourth individually with a 2-under 142, just two shots behind leaders Hayley Davis of Baylor and UCF's Monifa Sealy.
After a second-round 291, the Horned Frogs are only five strokes off the pace set by Nebraska. TCU is at 3-over 579 through 36 holes.

Bonetti had three birdies in a seven-hole stretch on the back nine. She finished with four birdies on the day, tying Rachel Raastad for team-best honors.
Bonetti's two low rounds of the fall have come in the opening two days of the Alamo Invitational. She followed a first-round 72 with Monday's 70.
Sanna Nuutinen birdied her first and last holes of the day en route to a 73. The TCU sophomore from Helsinki, Finland, is tied for 13th with a 145.
Raastad, Brooke Beeler and April McCoy all shot a 74 Monday. Raastad's four birdies came in a 10-hole stretch.
Beeler and McCoy are tied for 21st individually with Raastad in a deadlock for 26th.
