FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU All-American Jake Kirkpatrick, recipient of the 2010 Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center, has been added to the roster for the Jan. 29 Under Armour Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Kirkpatrick will join Horned Frog teammates Andy Dalton and Jeremy Kerley in the 62nd-annual game. The Senior Bowl features the nation's top senior draft prospects on teams coached by NFL staffs.
NFL Network will televise the 3 p.m. CST game and all practices during the week.
Kirkpatrick, who set the blocking scheme on each play for the Horned Frogs, did not commit a penalty or allow a sack in his senior year.
Named to six All-America teams, Kirkpatrick was also the lone offensive player to be one of four finalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award.
Kirkpatrick was the anchor of an offensive line that enabled TCU to set single-season school records for touchdowns (73), points scored (541), first downs (327) and total offense (6,199 yards).
TCU ranked fourth nationally in scoring (41.6 points), 10th in rushing (247.4 yards) and 12th in total offense (476.9 yards). The Horned Frogs tied for fifth in fewest sacks allowed, surrendering just nine in 13 contests (0.7 per game).
