Moss and Crawford Named TCU Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH - TCU basketball players Ronnie Moss and Starr Crawford are the Jan. 18 recipients of Athlete of the Week, the TCU Athletics Department announced Tuesday.
Moss averaged 22 points per game last week for the Horned Frogs, including pouring in a game-high 27 points in last Wednesday's 78-60 win over Wyoming. Against Colorado State on Saturday, Moss netted 17 points.
The Fort Worth native connected on 8-of-18 3-pointers, including six against Wyoming. Moss also pulled down 10 rebounds, had four steals and three assists against the Cowboys.
Crawford scored 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting in TCU's 68-47 win at Wyoming, while also grabbing nine rebounds in leading TCU to its largest margin of victory all-time against the Cowgirls.
The Arlington, Texas, native came back to score 11 points and grab eight boards against Colorado State on Saturday, including eight in the second half. Her second-half scoring accounted for eight of TCU's first 10 points in the period as the Frogs pulled away for a 66-40 victory.
