
Volleyball Ranks 25th Nationally In Attendance

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team is ranked 25th nationally in attendance after the first three weeks of the season. The Horned Frogs have played three home games in 2010 and are averaging 1,247 fans per match.
All three matches played at the University Rec Center rank in the top 10 attended matches all-time at home. Against the 21st-ranked LSU Tigers, 1,643 fans packed the gym, making it the third-most attended match in school history.
Since the beginning of the 2009 campaign, the Frogs have seen a big boost in attendance. They finished the season ranked 44th nationally with an average of 1,014 fans per match. The last two seasons combined have seen the Frogs welcome 16,928 fans to the University Rec Center, an average of 1,058 per match over 16 dates.
The Frogs return home this weekend to host the Nike Invitational. TCU will welcome UTSA, UAB and Ohio to Fort Worth. Friday night's 7 p.m. match-up against UAB will be nationally televised on The Mtn. (DIRECTV 616). The Frogs first match of the tournament is set for 1 p.m. against UTSA.
