
TCU Marketing Honored By NACMA

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU athletics marketing department took home gold-place honors last week at the 19th annual National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) convention in Anaheim, Calif.TCU claimed first-place accolades in the Promotional/Schedule Poster division with its 2009 football poster. The University of Wisconsin earned runner-up honors in the division, while Iowa State University claimed third-place.
"This is an outstanding honor for our football program and our marketing department," said Scott Kull, Associate Athletics Director for External Operations. "We would like to thank NACMA for this award. Both football and marketing worked directly with our ad agency, Concussion, on this project and it is nice to be recognized for the hard work that they put into the poster."
Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. More than 650 entries were received for the 2009-10 school year.
