SEASIDE, Calif. -- TCU's Angie Ravaioli-Larkin was named the Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year, while three Horned Frogs were named all-conference after the conclusion of the 2010 MWC Women's Golf Championship.
TCU's Brooke Beeler, Valentine Derrey and Rachel Raastad earned All-MWC recognition. It's the second straight season the Horned Frogs have topped the league in the most All-MWC selections.
It's the third time in the last four years and fourth time in six campaigns that TCU has produced three all-conference golfers in the same season.
Ravaioli-Larkin has now produced 27 all-conference selections in her 16-year tenure as head coach. She received her third conference coach of the year honor from three different leagues. She was previously the 1996 Southwest Conference Coach of the Year and the 1998 Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
Derrey is All-MWC for the fourth consecutive season. The senior from Paris, France, joins Angela Stanford as the only four-time all-conference selections in TCU women's golf history.
A 2008 All-American, Derrey was named last year to the MWC's 10th-Anniversary Women's Golf Team. Derrey has a 75.3 stroke average with four top-20 finishes. She has top-10 results in two of her last four events.
A sophomore from Asker, Norway, Raastad is an All-MWC selection for the second straight season. The runner-up at the 2010 MWC Women's Golf Championship, Raastad has a team-best 74.8 stroke average.
Raastad has five top-10 finishes in nine tournaments this season.
Beeler is All-MWC for the first time. The sophomore from Butler, Ill., is third on TCU and 10th in the MWC with a 75.8 stroke average.
Beeler and Derrey are the lone Horned Frogs to play in all 10 tournaments this season. Beeler has three top-20 results, including the last two events.
