
Clay Receives FCA Honor

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU wide receiver Curtis Clay has been recognized as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes TCU Athlete of the Year by the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the FCA.
The presentation to Clay was made at the FCA Share the Victory banquet at the Fort Worth Hilton.
Clay is playing as a graduate student this fall. He is a Spring 2010 TCU graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Clay has five receptions this season. He totaled a career-best 18 catches last year, including touchdown grabs in the Fiesta Bowl and a 14-10 victory at Clemson.
A Lockhart, Texas, native, Clay came to TCU as a walk-on before earning a scholarship.
Tom Lehman, the 1996 PGA Tour Player of the Year and former Ryder Cup captain, was the keynote speaker at the banquet. Lehman's two daughters attend TCU.
