
Frogs Hit Road For Two Key League Matches

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will take its three-match winning streak on the road this week as the Horned Frogs get set to take on No. 16 Colorado State and Wyoming. Thursday's meeting against the Rams will air live nationally on The Mtn. (DIRECTV 616) with first serve slated for 8:30 p.m. (CST). Saturday's match at Wyoming is set for a 2 p.m. (CST) first serve.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU has won three straight league games after sweeping New Mexico on Friday.
The victory extended the Frogs conference home winning streak to 11 matches.
Irene Hester led the Frogs in kills for the seventh straight contest.
Jordan Raines tallied her third double-double of the season with 12 kills and a career-high 19 digs.
The victory over New Mexico moved the Frogs all-time MWC record to 42-42.
TCU is one of the top offensive teams in the league, ranking second with an average of 13.3 kills per set.
The Frogs averaged 17.7 kills per set in the win over New Mexico, including 20 in the first set.
COLORADO STATE NOTABLES
The Rams enter the contest ranked No. 16 in the AVCA poll.
Colorado State leads the league with a 5-0 mark and is 8-1 at home this season.
The Rams have won six straight heading into Thursday's contest, including a pair of five-set victories.
CSU leads the league in blocking by a healthy margin, averaging 3.09 blocks per set.
Megan Plourde is the league's top blocker (1.62 bps) and her partner in crime at the net is Brieon Paige (1.02 bps).
The Rams also lead the league, limiting opponents to a .125 attack percentage.

Colorado State leads the all-time series 11-4, but just 7-4 since the Frogs joined the MWC in 2005.
