
Robinson Moves On At IAAF World Championships

BERLIN, Germany - Former Flyin' Frog great Khadevis Robinson advanced into the semifinals of the men's 800 meters on Thursday at the 12th Annual IAAF World Championships.Robinson, who earlier this season captured his fourth USA Indoor Championship in the 800, clocked an opening-round time of 1:46.79 seconds to finish third in heat No. 4. Robinson will compete in the semifinals on Friday.
Virgil Hodge was also in action on Thursday at Olympic Stadium. The St. Kitts native crossed the finish line with a seasonal-best time of 23.19 second in the semifinals of the women's 200 meters, but failed to make it into the finals. The six-time All-American finished fifth in her heat on Thursday.
Michael Frater and Robinson will continue action tomorrow in Berlin.
