Raastad And TCU Climb At NCAA Championships

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Rachel Raastad's even-par 72 helped TCU move up three spots to 19th place after Thursday's third round of the NCAA Women's Golf National Championships.
The Horned Frogs' 301 was their best round of the tournament by 13 strokes.
Raastad, from Asker, Norway, is tied for 15th individually with a 223 through 54 holes. She has posted TCU's low round all three days of the tournament. Raastad had three birdies Thursday.
Prisela Campbell and Valentine Derrey both carded 76s for the Horned Frogs. Campbell had a team-best four birdies. Allyson Ferguson added a 77 for TCU.
At 890, USC enters Friday's final round with a one-stroke lead over Arizona State and a three-shot advantage over UCLA.
The Trojans' Jennifer Song sits atop the individual leaderboard with an even-par 216, two shots better than Purdue's Maria Hernandez and the Bruins' Maria Jose Uribe.
