
Paul Honored by Mountain West Conference

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU senior Kishelle Paul was selected as the Mountain West Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Paul earns the weekly award after collecting runner-up honors in the women's 400-meter hurdles this past weekend at the 115th running of the prestigious Penn Relays.
Paul crossed the finish line in second-place by clocking an NCAA regional-qualifying and seasonal-best time of 58.86 seconds, which is currently first in the Mountain West Conference and Midwest Region. The Marietta, Ga., native posted the 19th-best time in the NCAA, finishing ahead of six of the nation's top-30 hurdlers.
She closed out the weekend leading the Flyin' Frogs to a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay Championship of America final. With Paul leading off, the TCU quartet clocked a regional-qualifying time of 3:33.63 for the program's highest finish ever posted in the Women's Champion of America final.
