
Frogs Eighth After Two Rounds at LSU Golf Classic

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Valentine Derrey and Melissa Loh carded 74s to lead TCU as the Horned Frogs shot a 301 and are eighth after Saturday's rain-soaked second round of the LSU Golf Classic.
Fourteen of the 18 teams saw their scores rise from Friday's opening round.
The No. 31 Horned Frogs, at 591, are 19 strokes behind leader and fourth-ranked Virginia. The Cavaliers hold an eight-shot lead over No. 7 Wake Forest.
Derrey is tied for 15th individually with a 2-over-par 146. The junior from Paris, France, had a team-high two birdies Saturday.
Loh dropped her score four shots from Friday's opening round.
Virginia's Calle Nielson is at 6-under 138 for a two-stroke advantage over Lucy Nunn of Arkansas and North Carolina's Allie White.
