
Volleyball Hosts New Mexico on Senior Night

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will go for its record-breaking 24th victory Friday night as they host New Mexico in their final home match of the 2009 season. The Horned Frogs will honor their four seniors following the match, which is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at the University Rec Center.
TCU NOTABLES
• TCU saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end with a 3-0 loss at UNLV.
• Despite the loss, the Frogs are still guaranteed to finish second in the league.
• This marks the second time in the program's history that the Frogs have finished second in a league (C-USA, 2004).
• TCU has reached 44 in the RPI, which is the third-best ranking in the Mountain West.
• With its 23 victories this season, TCU has tied the school record for wins in a season (2004).
• The 12 conference victories are the most in school history. The previous best was 10 in 2004.
• The Frogs have lost just two games in a row once this year, they are 4-1 after a loss this season.

• New Mexico enters Friday night's match with a 19-8 overall record and a 10-5 mark in league play.
• New Mexico is riding five-match winning streak having defeated Air Force, San Diego State, Utah, BYU and UNLV.
• The Lobos are clinging to a half-game lead over Utah in third place in the league.
• Taylor Hadfield leads the Lobos with an average of 2.77 kills per set.
• Defensively, they are paced by Allison Buck's 4.04 digs per set.
• At the net, Anna Lehne leads the team with an average of 1.11 blocks per set.

• TCU has won three of the five meetings against the Lobos in Fort Worth.
