
Volleyball Rides Win Streak To UNLV

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team hits the road Saturday as they aim for their school-record 24th victory at UNLV. Winner's of eight in a row and second in the league, the Frogs will square off against the Rebels at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU extended its win streak to eight matches with a pair of victories over BYU and Utah.
Kourtney Edwards had a terrific weekend and was named MWC Co-Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and the fifth time this season.
For the first time in school history, the Horned Frogs earned votes in the AVCA Poll. They had three in the latest poll.
TCU has climbed to 35 in the RPI, which is the second-best ranking in the Mountain West.
With its 23 victories this season, TCU has tied the school record for wins in a season (2004).
The Frogs sit at 12-2 in the conference, a half game back of Colorado State.
The 12 conference victories are the most in school history. The previous best was 10 in 2004.
UNLV NOTABLES
UNLV enters the match with a 6-15 record and a 4-9 mark in league play.
The Rebels are coming off a 3-2 loss to New Mexico on Thursday, a match that they had a 2-1 lead.
UNLV's schedule has been a tough one as they've faced off against No. 8 Florida, No. 9 ULCA, UC Santa Barbara and Oregon State.
The Rebels four conference victories have come over Air Force (twice), Wyoming and New Mexico.
Sophomore Cursty Jackson leads the team with an average of 3.22 kills per set and 1.01 blocks per set.
Kela Lau Hee is the defensive leader with an average of 3.39 digs per set.
UNLV SERIES
UNLV leads the all-time series 8-3.
TCU has won two straight, including a 3-0 victory earlier this season in Fort Worth.
The Frogs will be in search of their first-ever victory in Las Vegas, where they are 0-5.
