
TCU Hits The Road For Two Matches

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs will look to build on an impressive early showing in conference play when they head to Utah for a pair of league matches. On Thursday the Frogs will square off against Utah and will wrap up the road trip on Saturday at BYU. Both matches are slated for an 8 p.m. start. The BYU match can be seen live on BYU-TV.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU improved to 4-1 in league play with a pair of conference victories this past weekend.
Kourtney Edwards' efforts on the court garnered her her third MWC Player of the Week honor.
Irene Hester tallied her second double-double of the season against San Diego State on Saturday.
Edwards tallied the third-highest single match attack percentage (.789) against Air Force, finishing with 15 kills on 19 swings.
UTAH NOTABLES
Utah sits atop the league standings, tied with Colorado State, with a 4-0 mark in league play.
Karolina Bartkowiak leads the team with 2.96 kills per set and ranks second with an average of 2.39 digs per set.
Defensively, Corinne Crump paces the team with an average of 3.78 digs per set, while Chelsey Sandberg is averaging 1.09 blocks per set.
UTAH SERIES HISTORY
The Utes own a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series.
The Frogs are 1-4 all-time in Salt Lake City.
TCU's last win the series came in 2007 when the Horned Frogs won both meetings, including a 3-2 win in Salt Lake City.

The Cougars enter the weekend with an 8-7 record to go along with a 3-1 league mark.
Five of BYU's eight wins have come on its home court.
