Derrey And Beeler Lead Frogs At Windy City Classic

GLENVIEW, Ill. -- Valentine Derrey and Brooke Beeler both carded 72s as 25th-ranked TCU completed two rounds of play Monday and is 11th at the Windy City Collegiate Classic.
Derrey's opening-round 72 included four birdies. She shot a second-round 76 and is tied for 23rd individually with a 148.
Beeler, playing in her home state, shot a second-round 72 and is at 149. The Butler, Ill., native is in a deadlock for 29th.
TCU junior Allyson Ferguson, competing in her first tournament of the season, is tied for 35th with a 150.
The Horned Frogs are at 27-over-par 603. Top-ranked Purdue sits atop the leader board with a 12-under-par 564 for an 18-stroke lead over No. 17 Arizona.
