
Frogs Move Into Eighth At Las Vegas Tourney

BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Battling high winds, Allyson Ferguson and Melissa Loh both carded second-round 74s Tuesday as TCU moved into eighth place at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
Loh is tied for sixth overall with an even-par 144 through 36 holes. The junior from Singapore is six strokes off the pace set by Louisville's Sara-Maude Juneau and Arizona's Sherlyn Popelka.
TCU senior Valentine Derrey shot her second-straight 75 and is tied for 33rd.
Ferguson had a team-high five birdies on the day.
The Horned Frogs totaled a 303 and are at 596, 18 strokes behind leader Arizona. At 578, the Wildcats have a one-shot advantage over Washington with UC Davis four back.
