TCU Selects Its Student-Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Athletics Department announced that Daniel Jennevret (Sandviken, Sweden | Bessemer Sandviken) and Sarah Scherer (Fort Worth, Texas | Home School) were awarded with Student-Athlete of the Week accolades for their performances for the Horned Frogs.
Jennevret posted a 12-under-par score of 204 (69-67-68) en route to posting his first-ever collegiate victory at The Prestige at PGA WEST. The TCU newcomer tied a program record for fastest victory in TCU history after capturing the tournament crown by six strokes and leading the Frogs to a 16-stroke victory.
Scherer led the Frogs to a 4,657-4,642 victory over Kentucky this past weekend after claiming top honors in air rifle. Scherer posted a perfect 10 in 56 of 60 shots against the Wildcats en route to leading TCU to a new program record for aggregate total and air rifle tally.
