
Hodge claims 200-meter title in Glasgow

GLASGOW, UK - Former Flyin' Frog Virgil Hodge placed first overall in the women's 200 meters on Saturday to win her first meet as a professional sprinter.Hodge, a six-time All-American, clocked a time of 24.29 to capture the event title and secure maximum points in an annual five-way match between Great Britain, Sweden, Germany, Commonwealth and the United States.
On the men's side, 2008 Olympian Kim Collins crossed the finish line in sixth-place with a time of 21.99. In the 60 meters, Collins placed fifth overall with a time of 6.70 seconds.
