
TCU heads to Stillwater; will face Wichita State

FORT WORTH, Texas - The NCAA Baseball Regional brackets were announced Monday on ESPN. The TCU Horned Frogs will be heading to Oklahoma State to take part in the Stillwater Regional. The Frogs enter the tournament as the three seed in the region. They will play the region's second-seed, Wichita State on Friday at 1 p.m. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 30 and run through Monday. The other two teams in the bracket are the host-school and the fourth-seed, Western Kentucky.
For the first time in school history, the Frogs have earned five straight trips to the NCAA Regionals. This is the Frogs seventh overall trip to the regionals. The previous six trips came in 1956, 1994, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
The winner of the Stillwater Regional will play the winner of the Florida State Regional in the Super Regionals. The four teams in that region include, the host school, Florida, Tulane and Bucknell.
