Baseball hosts Prairie View A&M in midweek series

FORT WORTH, Texas - Coming off a huge series victory over then-No.2 Ole Miss, the TCU Horned Frogs will wrap up a season-long seven-game home stand when they host Prairie View A&M in a midweek series. The opener is slated for Tuesday night with the series finale coming on Wednesday evening. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. both nights at Lupton Stadium.
TCU NOTABLES
• TCU went 4-1 last week, including two big wins over then-No. 2 Ole Miss.
• The Frogs' offense continues to struggle as they hit just .242 in the five contests with nine extra-base hits.
• Bryan Holaday is the hottest hitter in the Frog lineup as he hit .400 last week and is in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak.
• On the mound, the pitching staff was dominate, posting a 2.30 ERA with 34 strikeouts.
• Andrew Cashner earned two wins in three appearances.
