FORT WORTH, Texas -- For the second consecutive year, TCU football has set a school record for season-tickets sold.
As of Sept. 17, 14,468 season tickets have been purchased for the 2007 campaign. That total includes an increase of 18 percent in new sales. Last year's final total was 13,962 season tickets.
"This increase in season sales is a reflection of the hard work of our football team and marketing and ticket office staffs," TCU associate athletics director for external operations Scott Kull said. "Additionally, the 18 percent of new sales is an opportunity to expose this new fan base to our beautiful campus and all the new construction that is taking place."
Season tickets for the 2007 TCU football season are still available. For more information, visit the Frogs' Web site (www.gofrogs.com) or call 817-257-FROG (3764).
