As a recruit, what sold you on coming to TCU?
"I saw TCU on the rise. I have always been an underdog in life, and TCU was and still is an underdog team. We're the underdog in most of our games. TCU was just a great fit for me and close to home."
Now that you're a student here, what would you say to others who are considering attending TCU?
"Coming to TCU and getting this type of education is a blessing for me. I'm very fortunate to have an opportunity to get a degree from here. TCU is a great, private school and I could not have chosen a better place."
What does Coach Patterson mean to you?
"Coach Patterson is the best coach I have ever been around. He is such a competitor. As far as learning the game from and playing for Coach Patterson, he gets that attitude like I get that attitude. He puts his back against the wall and is ready to go at it. That is the type of player I am, and I love playing for him."
What are your thoughts when you see all the upgrades in facilities?
"It's night and day since I came here in 2003. With all the new facilities around here, it ties in with what I say about TCU being the underdog. We're now getting the facilities to attract recruits. TCU is making a big improvement."
Tell us about the camaraderie on the team.
"It's a great place. We joke, and we work hard at the same time. If you are not having fun, there is no point in doing it. You are never going to work to your full potential if you are not having fun. The camaraderie is great!"
