FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football program has added a radio affiliate in Houston as eight Horned Frog games will be heard this fall on KNTH-AM 1070.
Non-conference dates with Baylor (Sept. 1), Texas (Sept. 8) and SMU (Sept. 22) as well as Mountain West Conference games versus Air Force (Sept. 13), Colorado State (Sept. 29), Utah (Oct. 18), BYU (Nov. 8) and UNLV (Nov. 17) will be heard on KNTH.
"KNTH-AM 1070 is a great addition to the TCU ISP Sports Network," TCU associate athletics director for external operations Scott Kull said. "We are grateful for the opportunity to increase our listenership in the Houston area. (Play-by-play announcer) Brian Estridge and (color analyst) John Denton do a fantastic job and now Horned Frog fans in Houston can enjoy them too."
TCU's flagship station remains 100,000-watt 103.3 FM ESPN in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. All TCU football games can also be heard on gofrogs.com.
