
Frogs head to Houston; will face Baylor

FORT WORTH, Texas - The NCAA Baseball Regional brackets were announced Monday on ESPN2. The TCU Horned Frogs will be heading to Houston, Texas to take part in the Houston Regional. The Frogs enter the tournament as the two seed in the region. They will play the region's third-seed, Baylor on Friday. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 1 and run through Monday.
The other two teams in the bracket are host-school and the No. 2 national seed Rice and the fourth-seeded Prairie View A&M.
For the first time in school history, the Frogs have earned four straight trips to the NCAA Regionals. This is the Frogs sixth overall trip to the regionals. The previous five trips came in 1994, 1956, 2004, 2005, and 2006.
The winner of the Houston Regional will play the winner of the College Station Regional in the Super Regionals. The four teams in that region include the host school, Texas A&M, La.-Lafayette, Ohio State and LeMoyne.
