
Volleyball announces spring schedule

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will open spring practice on March 19 in preparation for four spring tournaments. Practice will run through April 28. Highlighting the tournaments is one hosted by TCU on April 6. It will feature numerous teams from around the region, including Oklahoma, North Texas, SMU, Texas State and UT-Arlington. TCU returns 10 letterwinners from its 2006 squad that posted its third winning season in the last four years with a record of 17-15.
The Frogs first action of the spring comes on March 31 with a trip to SMU, followed a week later by the tournament hosted by TCU on April 6. The Frogs will hit the rioad the following week as they head to Houston for a tourney at the Texas Tornados facility. The spring schedule will conclude with two games at Baylor on April 28.
The all-day event at TCU in April is free and open to the public. The matches are slated to begin at 8 a.m. at the University Rec Center.
