Men's swimmers and divers in action this weekend

FORT WORTH, Texas - Eight TCU men's swimmers will compete at the 2007 Short Course National Championships and the USA Swimming Long Course Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., beginning on Thursday, while two men's divers will travel to Austin, Texas, for the Texas Invite starting on Thursday.
Cameron Allred, Josh Bagby, Jonathon Berrettini, Jeff Gettel, Jason Hauck, Jeff Hendricks, Scott McCracken and Edgar Peyro will all compete at the Georgia Tech Aquatics Center in Atlanta, Ga. The 2007 Short Course National Championships will begin on Thursday and run through Saturday, while the USA Swimming Long Course Invitational will take place on Sunday. The eight swimmers combine for all 20 event wins by the Horned Frogs (4-2) this season.
Kyle Callens and R.J. Hesselberg will take part in the Texas Invite, which begins on Thursday and runs through Saturday. The Frogs will face stiff competition against divers from No. 1 Texas, No. 2 Arizona, No. 3 Stanford, Cal-State Northridge and UNLV. The one-meter diving event will take place on Thursday, followed by the three-meter on Friday and the platform on Saturday. Twenty-four divers will compete in the preliminary one- and three-meter events.
