FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU will look to end a two-game losing streak on Wednesday with a welcome home match against Oklahoma. The Frogs are a perfect 10-0 at the University Rec Center this season and are just two wins shy of tying the school record for home victories. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
TCU Horned Frogs
The Frogs finished the month of September with a 12-3 record, including a perfect 10-0 at home.
TCU is in the midst of a two game losing streak after dropping two matches last week at Texas State and at New Mexico.
The Frogs are led offensively by Kourtney Edwards' 239 kills, which is an average of 3.51 per game.
Defensively, Calli Corley leads the squad with 285 digs. She needs just 45 digs to set the all-time record at TCU.
The Frogs, who are 10-0 at home this season, are just two wins shy of tying a school record for home wins in a season.
Oklahoma Sooners
Enters the match with a record of 12-3 on the season, including a 5-1 mark in Big XII action.
Last time out, the Sooners dropped a 3-2 decision at Missouri, dropping them out of the AVCA Top 25 poll.
The Sooners are 4-2 on an opponents' court this season and are 7-2 in non-conference action.
They are led by Mariana Blum's 3.77 kills per game. Hannah Sharp leads the squad defensively, averaging 4.26 digs per game.
The TCU vs. Oklahoma Series
Wednesday's meeting will be the fourth in the series.
The Sooners lead the series 2-1.
Oklahoma claimed a 3-0 victory in Norman last season.
TCU's lone victory against OU came in 2004 with a 3-1 victory.
Oklahoma is 1-0 all-time in Fort Worth, taking a 3-1 victory in the 2005 season-opener.
