Volleyball Announces TV/Radio Schedule

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Mountain West Conference released the 2006 volleyball broadcast schedule on Thursday. The TCU Horned Frogs are scheduled to make three appearances on the mtn. this season. As well as appearing on the mtn., the Frogs road match against BYU on Oct. 6 can be seen live on BYU-TV. Four of the Frogs home volleyball matches will also be heard around Fort Worth on KTCU-FM 88.7.
"We are very excited about having our matches on KTCU," remarked Head Coach Prentice Lewis. "This will help our program grow as the public learns more and more about us. It will also help in our recruiting efforts. We are extremely excited about having some of our matches on the mtn. Being on TV is an awesome experience."
As well as being aired live on BYU-TV on Oct. 6, the Frogs match-up against the Cougars will be tape delayed and aired on the mtn. on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. The Frogs road match against San Diego State on Oct. 29 can be seen on the mtn. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. TCU's last scheduled television match will be another road contest at New Mexico on Nov. 10. The tape delayed match will be aired on the mtn. on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.
Additionally, four matches have also been picked up by KTCU and will be aired live on 88.7 FM. Jeff Lewis will bring all of the action live from the University Rec Center.
