VERONA, Wis. -- Keyed by a Top 20 effort from Carrie Morris, the TCU women's golf team is in 11th place after the opening day of the Badger Invitational.The opening 36 holes were played today on the par-72, 6,421-yard University Ridge course. Tomorrow's final 18 holes will begin at 8 a.m. Live scoring will be available on the web at golfstat.com.
Purdue is the team leader with a 6-over-par 582, 12 shots ahead of second-place Texas A&M.
Morris, tied for 17th overall, fired a 78-74-152 and is 12 strokes behind leader Onnarin Sattayabanphot (71-69-140) of the Boilermakers. New Mexico State's Lehua Wise is second at 72-73--145
