
Lewis Named Volunteer Director of Operations

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Jeff Lewis was named the volunteer director of operations, TCU associate athletics director Jack Hesselbrock announced today.
"Jeff has certainly been an integral part on the program's growth and success," states Hesselbrock. "This designation recognizes all that he has meant to volleyball and defines his role more clearly."
In his day-to-day operations, Lewis' duties include: scheduling and assisting with on-campus recruiting. Additionally, he will serve as the voice of the Horned Frogs via the internet. The Elkhorn, Wis., native will also assist in game scheduling, coordinating public service activities and running head coach's camps or clinics.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, he holds a master's degree in education with an emphasis in physical education. Lewis has decorated resume of coaching tennis, basketball and football at the high school level and teaching at the junior-college level.
The TCU volleyball team begins the 2005 season on Saturday, Aug. 27, when it entertains Oklahoma at the University Rec Center. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
