Frog football practices closed

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football team has closed all practices indefinitely.
The Frogs have advanced to six bowl games in the last seven seasons. The Sept. 3 season opener at No. 5 Oklahoma will be seen regionally at 11 a.m. Central on ABC-TV. All Frog games are heard on 103.3 ESPN and other TCU/ESPN Sports Network affiliates.
Over the last five seasons, TCU has the 17th-best record in Division I-A at 42-18 (700).
With the Sept. 15 home opener against Utah, the Frogs face two opponents in the opening three games who were ranked in the top five in the nation last season.
