
NCAA Outdoor Track Championships Begin Wednesday

Sacramento, Calif. - After nearly four months of outdoor competition, the NCAA Div. I season culminates at the Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Sacramento State beginning on Wednesday, June 8. The four-day event runs through Saturday, June 11.
The field is comprised of 1,088 student-athletes (544 men and women). Included in that list are five TCU athletes. The Frogs will be represented by MaKeatha Cooper in the 100 meter hurdles, Donita Harmon in the 200 meter dash, Nathandra John in the 400 meter dash, and by the 4x400 meter relay team of Marquita Davis, Deborah Jones, Harmon and John.
Cooper and John will compete in Wednesday's preliminary round, while Harmon and the relay team will take the track for the first time on Thursday.
Both single-day and four-day tickets are available through the main box office at the Alex G. Spanos Sports Complex beginning on Wednesday morning. The first event of the meet begins at 11 a.m. The majority of the running events will get under way at 3:55.
