The SMU-TCU football game set for Sat., Sept. 10, will be broadcast nationally on College Sports Television, SMU Athletic Director Jim Copeland announced today. To accommodate the TV broadcast, kickoff time has been moved to 8:30 p.m.
"We're certainly excited to play on national television," said SMU Head Coach Phil Bennett. "The SMU-TCU game is always a source of excitement for football fans in the Metroplex and this will give football fans across the country a chance to experience it for themselves."
This year's "Battle For The Iron Skillet" mark the 86th time the Mustangs and Frogs have met on the gridiron, with TCU holding a slim 40-38-7 series edge.
