Harmon Named C-USA Track Athlete of the Week

TCU junior sprinter Donita Harmon was named the Conference USA women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the UTA Open last Saturday.
Harmon finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.52 seconds and placed second in the 200 meters with a time of 23.87 seconds. They were the second and fourth best marks posted respectively in the conference this season. Harmon, who has been plagued by a foot injury that kept her sidelined for the entire indoor season, was competing for the first time this spring in the 100 and for just the second time in the 200.
Harmon and the rest of the Flyin' Frogs track & field squad will travel to Houston this weekend for the Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet runs from Thursday to Saturday.
