
TCU Cheerleaders Places 7th In National Competition

Daytona Beach, Fla. - The TCU cheerleading team finished in seventh place in the Division I-A small co-ed category at the Daytona Chick-Fil-A College Championship. The Frogs edged out cross-town rival SMU, who finished 9th in the 21 team division. It was the first time that TCU has finished in the top-10 in the last decade.
The squad also walked away with the 2005 Sportsmanship Award. The award was given out for the first time in the competition's history. The team won the award based on performance and sportsmanship, both on and off of the competition floor.
