
Keith Conlon Named C-USA Hitter Of The Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU junior outfielder Keith Conlon was named the Conference USA Hitter of the Week for his performance in helping the Frogs to a 4-0 week. TCU picked up a mid-week win over UT-Arlington on Tuesday and swept then-league leading USF this past weekend. The honor marks the first n Conlon's career and the third for the Frogs this spring.
Conlon batted .667 (10-for-15) in four wins last week with a .722 on-base percentage. He recorded two or more hits in each game, finishing the week with five doubles, one triple, one home run and seven RBI. Conlon added three walks and scored six runs last week and has raised his batting average from .154 to .356 since moving into the starting lineup five games ago.
Shelby Ford was honored earlier this season as the Conference USA Hitter of the Week on Feb. 14 and Lance Broadway was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week on March 14.
The son of Robyn and Don Conlon, Conlon is a native of Dallas, Texas and a transfer from Weatherford Junior College. He is a Highland Park High School graduate.
