FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs slipped a few notches in the polls this week, following a 2-2 week that saw the Frogs lose to Texas Tech on Tuesday night and pick up their second series win of the season. The Frogs took two-of-three from the Florida Atlantic Owls on the road this past weekend, winning game one 11-10 before dropping game two 3-1. TCU rebounded to take the rubber match, 7-3 on Sunday. The Frogs' highest ranking this week comes from Baseball America as they have TCU ranked No. 24.
This week, TCU made its regular-season debut in the Collegiate Baseball poll, coming in at No. 29. The Purple and White fell six spots in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers poll from No. 22 to No. 28. In last week's Sports Weekly/ESPN Coaches poll, the Frogs were ranked No. 25.
The Frogs will wrap up a four-game road trip on Tuesday when they head to Huntsville, Texas, to take on Sam Houston State beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Frogs return home Thursday for the start of a seven-game homestand. TCU will square off against Dallas Baptist in a three-game series beginning 7:00 p.m. Thursday night at Lupton Stadium. -tcu-
