
TCU among nation's leaders in freshmen played

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Mountain West Conference champion TCU football team is tied for fourth nationally in the number of freshmen played this season.
The 15th-ranked Horned Frogs have had 21 freshmen (16 redshirt, 5 true) take the field in 2005.
TCU (10-1) will be making its seventh bowl appearance in the last eight seasons when it faces a Big 12 opponent Dec. 31 in the EV1.net Houston Bowl at Reliant Stadium.
