
Cody McCarty To Play in Senior Bowl Saturday

TCU tight end Cody McCarty will participate in the 56th edition of the Senior Bowl on Saturday, January 29. The Senior Bowl presented by Food World, will be held at Mobile's Ladd-Pebbles Stadium and will be televised on ESPN2, beginning at 3 p.m. Central time.
McCarty, a 6-4, 260-pounder from Bishop, Texas, earned first team all-Conference USA accolades by the league's coaches and media members in 2004. He averaged 18.9 yards per reception, catching 17 passes for 321 yards, including a pair of scores. He was named the fifth best senior tight end for the NFL Draft according to The Sporting News. During his four-year career at TCU, McCarty caught 39 passes for 636 yards and four touchdowns.
McCarty will wear number 85 for the South team, which will be coached by the staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
